CoolSculpting

Even with a healthy diet and regular exercise, stubborn fat deposits can be difficult to eliminate — especially when genetics are working against you. CoolSculpting offers a non-invasive solution to target those areas without surgery or downtime.

What Is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting uses a process called cryolipolysis to freeze and destroy fat cells beneath the skin. The applicator lowers the temperature of the targeted area until fat cells are damaged and gradually eliminated by the body as waste. Because fat cells are more sensitive to cold than surrounding skin and tissue, the overlying skin remains unharmed throughout the process.

FDA-approved since 2010, CoolSculpting is one of the most popular non-surgical fat reduction treatments available.

What to Expect

  • Sessions typically take 35–60 minutes per target area

  • You may feel intense cold, mild tugging, or tingling — most patients read or watch TV during treatment

  • No incisions, no anesthesia, no recovery time

  • Results begin to appear within 2–3 weeks and continue improving for up to 3 months

  • Most patients require 2–3 sessions per area, spaced at least 60 days apart

Is CoolSculpting Right for You?
CoolSculpting is best suited for patients who are near their ideal body weight but have localized fat deposits that haven't responded to diet and exercise. It is not a weight-loss treatment and is not recommended for patients who are significantly overweight.

Treatable areas include the abdomen, flanks, thighs, upper arms, chin, and more.

How Long Do Results Last?
CoolSculpting permanently destroys fat cells, which are then naturally expelled by the body. As long as you maintain a stable, healthy lifestyle, results are long-lasting.
